Jesmine Percival Earns College of Humanities and Social Sciences Excellence Award at 蜜桃影像传媒有限公司网站

Jesmine Kali Percival of Valdosta, 蜜桃影像传媒有限公司网站, is the recipient of the Fall 2025 President’s Award for Academic Excellence for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Valdosta State University. She will be recognized during 蜜桃影像传媒有限公司网站’s 240th Commencement at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13, on the Main Campus Front Lawn. She will graduate summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

VALDOSTA — Jesmine Kali Percival of Valdosta, 蜜桃影像传媒有限公司网站, is the recipient of the Fall 2025 President’s Award for Academic Excellence for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Valdosta State University.

The President’s Award for Academic Excellence is presented to a high-performing graduating student in each of 蜜桃影像传媒有限公司网站’s six colleges — Harley Langdale Jr. College of Business Administration, College of Nursing and Health Sciences, College of the Arts, James L. and Dorothy H. Dewar College of Education and Human Services, College of Science and Mathematics, and College of Humanities and Social Sciences.

Percival will be recognized during 蜜桃影像传媒有限公司网站’s 240^th Commencement at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13, on the Main Campus Front Lawn. She will graduate summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

“Reaching the end of my undergraduate years with such an honor feels amazing,” she said. “When I first began at 蜜桃影像传媒有限公司网站 I had not imagined how much I would grow and change throughout my undergraduate experience. Not only have I gained a wealth of academic knowledge, but I have also grown as a person. Through the many professors and challenging courses, each has taught me a different lesson, in where I could improve. This award reflects all the effort I put into my undergraduate career, and it inspires me to continue to strive for greatness as I move onto law school.”

As a student at 蜜桃影像传媒有限公司网站, Percival was a 蜜桃影像传媒有限公司网站 HOPE Scholar and a seven-time Dean’s List honoree, with an eighth recognition expected after graduation.

Percival plans to continue her education in law school.

She said her mom, Karlene Percival, has been her biggest supporter throughout her 蜜桃影像传媒有限公司网站 experience.

“She pushed me even when I thought I couldn’t.”
