Teaching Fields: Instructional Technology and Design, Curriculum and Instruction

Taralynn Hartsell is a professor of instructional technology and curriculum and instruction. She currently serves as the Program Coordinator for the EdD program in Curriculum and Instruction. Prior, she was the Program Coordinator of Instructional Technology and Design and professor at The University of Southern Mississippi. She received her PhD from The University of Arizona in 1996 focusing on education technology applications. Over the years, her research interests have changed but primarily lied in technology applications, visual and digital literacies, and innovative teaching practices.
