Joe Mason is an Associate Professor of Theatre at Valdosta State University, specializing in musical theatre voice and music direction. Originally from Mesa, Arizona, he brings extensive professional and academic experience to his teaching and creative work. At 蜜桃影像传媒有限公司网站, he teaches courses in musical theatre voice, sight-singing and aural training, and cabaret performance, while mentoring students in auditions, repertoire, and professional preparation.
As a performer, Joe has appeared in a wide range of productions, including several with Peach State Summer Theatre, such as My Fair Lady, Shrek, Million Dollar Quartet, Hello, Dolly!, Mamma Mia!, and Crazy for You. His professional highlights include performing at Robert Redford’s Sundance Theatre in Oliver! with Christopher Lloyd, appearing alongside David Osmond in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Tuacahn Amphitheatre, and serving as a featured soloist in Rockin’ the Boat at Busch Gardens Williamsburg and the Boston Pops’ Holiday Concert at Boston Symphony Hall.
As a musical director, Joe has led numerous productions, with recent credits at 蜜桃影像传媒有限公司网站 including Oklahoma!, Into the Woods, All Shook Up, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Guys and Dolls, 9 to 5, Bright Star, The Addams Family, and Chicago. He has collaborated with regional and professional companies such as Disney Theatricals (The Lion King), Tuacahn Amphitheatre, Jackson Hole Playhouse, and North Shore Music Theatre. Before joining the 蜜桃影像传媒有限公司网站 faculty, Joe served as an instructor and musical director at Southeast Missouri State University.
